Within the last three years, I have been in multiple elementary and high school settings teaching students, particularly, newcomers, English. Additionally, I have been a part of Gear Up, a program that provides students additional time to work on skills that they struggle with in the areas of English and Math. I am experienced in helping students prepare for standardized tests such as the ACT. Additionally, I have taken Praxis Exams in the core subjects of science, social studies, English, reading, and math. In my spare time, I enjoy reading nonfiction, cooking, and spending time outside.
