I have taught in traditional classroom settings, as well as one-on-one in person, and by Zoom. I enjoy getting to know my students personally, the more diverse the better, as I feel I learn just as much from my students as they learn from me. I possess good communication skills, and have great patience especially when identifying challenging tasks. I am committed to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. I will never reprimand or make my student feel anything but supported, and my wish is to help my student improve in their academic performance, but also to foster a lifelong love of learning in them. I hope to have the privilege of passing along my knowledge to open and curious minds, as well as helping those who struggle feel more confident and able on their educational journey.

I am a church organist; an advanced classical pianist, and a gourmet cook. I enjoy writing and am a published author. I love to host dinner parties, meet new and interesting people, and engage in meaningful and interesting conversations. I am an avid reader of all types of literature. I enjoy classical music, Broadway musicals, ballet, and British television series. I love to travel and have done so extensively, having been an expatriate's child in my youth, and what I would call a Third Culture Kid. I love to walk outside in nature, and am a well-seasoned gardener.
