About Me

I am passionate about teaching students through 6th grade. I graduated From Wheelock College in 1982 with a BS. Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I graduated Northeastern State University in 2011 with a Masters Degree in Education that qualifies me to be a Reading Specialist. I have taught kindergarten through 4th grade and retired from as a special ed teacher in 2019. I am good at teaching Elementary reading and Math skills. I have been learning Spanish for 2 years and I also know Italian and French, so would enjoy using those languages to teach, or to teach those languages. I believe all students can learn, it is just a matter of finding out what learning style works for them. I am patient and compassionate and firm. I love to teach!
