I have a BA from Skidmore College in Religious Studies and Psychology, minoring in English and Honors Forum. In that time, I had six semesters of creative workshopping experience and over 400 hours teaching academic writing in the Philip Boshoff writing center. I won the Denise Marcil prize for Fiction in 2022, received departmental honors for my English capstone (a fiction collection of short stories), and was selected to present my work in both fiction and nonfiction at the Honors Academic Festival on two separate panels. Writing is my favorite medium, but I love all kinds of creative work, like making collages, painting, and writing music. Besides that, I love cooking, hiking, and spending time with my family and my dog Gustav.
