I received a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona. (Go Wildcats!) I decided to further my education and obtained a Masters in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement embedded. I have also tutored (both online and in person) for the last 10 years. After teaching in the classroom I made the decision to become a Reading Interventionist/Coach. In this role, I thoroughly enjoyed helping students overcome their reading difficulties and observe those, "light bulb moments" that ensued. Nothing is more rewarding! I have since switched job roles and now work with English Learners and am able to utilize many of the same intervention strategies I used as a Reading Specialist. I love making connections with students more than anything! Without the connection piece, it is nearly impossible to move forward with content. I look forward to working with your student and assisting them in their educational journey!

My hobbies include baking (mainly cupcakes), reading and spending time with my family. Time is precious and I enjoy every minute I can with them!
