- I am also a certified dyslexia advocate with a total of 12 years of experience in early childhood education.
About Me
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from University of West Alabama. Currently, I serve as a first-grade teacher in my hometown, where I have the opportunity to support and encourage young learners each day. Working with children and watching them learn and grow is one of the most rewarding aspects of being an educator. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities while developing an understanding of the value and importance of education. In addition, I am a trained mentor through Mentor Collective, a program that connects students in various academic programs with mentors at universities across the nation. Through mentoring, I strive to provide encouragement, guidance, and support that positively impacts students both academically and personally.
