About Me

I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies. I started teaching after graduation, and continued to teach for 21 years for students of varying backgrounds in grade PreK, K and 1st grade along with 3rd and 5th grade. I have had significant experience with students of all sorts of learning capabilities. I look forward to tutoring math, reading and writing in an engaging way to all my students. I have been working with Varsity Tutors since July 2023. I am passionate to tutor students to see them develop stronger skills in math and reading that will assist in their grade level academic goals. I am a patient, caring, understanding along with being an enthusiastic and flexible teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy reading various books, yoga, hiking, traveling, watching movies and doing different activities with my family.
