I was always told I was a good poet and dramatist, however, I did not know if that was a career path I was willing to follow. I finally decided to study English and take up writing classes. I met up with writing coaches who instilled in me the necessary tools and skills needed to be a successful writer. I as an adult and an English major would also like to impact the younger generation on how to be better students and writers. I have a Masters degree in English and I'm a current PhD. student in English. I teach first and second year English at the university I school at and I've also taught high school English and some college prep classes.
