I live in Moseley, VA and have taught English for 25+ years. I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in English from Elizabeth City State University and a Masters Degree in Education from Virginia State University. Teaching is my passion as I personally get great joy in seeing my student(s) grasp an understanding of the lesson(s) taught. I have taught students in General education classes and students whose 1st language is not English - both with much success. I have taught Grammar as an integrated subject and as a separate subject. I have also taught Literature. What I know from years of teaching is learning styles differ from child to child. In order for students to be successful, the teacher must teach in a fashion and style in which the child benefits most. This is the key to imparting knowledge. When I am not educating students, I enjoy reading, traveling and walking .
