About Me

I am a retired Special Education teacher who enjoys interacting with children. It gives me joy to see students engaged and learning. My former education began at Central State University in Wilberforce,Ohio, receiving my undergraduate degree in Special Education. I earned my Masters Degree at Xavier University in Cincinnati,Ohio the area of concentration is Learning Disabilities. I believe that all children can learn when given opportunities to explore various learning styles. I am looking forward to tutoring students, giving them various learning styles that will improve their success and motivation in learning. I have over 30 years experience in writing and implementing (IEP'S) I taught students 1on1 and small group instruction. I've experienced Executive Functioning with my son during his 12 years of school and his college years He was diagnosed at an early age with Anxiety/ Disorder and ADHD Working with him daily organizing ,structure ,and a variety of methods that met his needs he was able to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree. He continues to use those skills taught in his daily life.
