I am certified to teach all elementary students. I am also an esol endorsed teacher which means I can teach students who are English language learners. During my time in the kindergarten classroom, I taught EIP students. These students are struggling readers that were not meeting grade level. My passion is teaching and helping students to be successful. I currently teach 4th grade all content. I have my masters degree in reading instruction. While I love teaching across all subjects areas, I have a strong passion for teaching reading and writing. I know what its like to struggle as a reader because I struggled in elementary school. I want to help those students gain the confidence and skills needed to be successful readers. Outside of teaching, I love to spend time with my family. I love reading books to my 3 kids and hope to instill in them the importance of reading. I also love a good adventure and the outdoors.
