During my over 10 years of teaching high school and college, and tutoring students from the middle to high school levels, I've always tried to find simple ways of explaining math concepts to students. I truly believe any student can train their mind to think. The key is to tap into a student's own experiences and use these experiences to link the math concepts to practical examples of how these concepts can be applied. The combination of my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Morehouse College, Master of Science in Biostatistics from Georgia State University, and my career as a Statistician provides me with the background to explain concepts simply and provide real world examples to show the applications of these concepts.
