About Me
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and have approximately 30 hours of graduate level hours in reading instruction. I have experience working as a substitute teacher, tutor, and teaching assistant in grades K-6 as well as adult learners in a large lecture class. As a tutor I have experience preparing students for the Texas state required STARR test in reading, writing, and math as well as getting them motivated and excited to learn skills that they will use to enrich rest of their life. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, creative writing, shopping, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog.
