Anna
- I hold two master's degrees, one in Chemistry and the other in Education, with specializations in STEM and Special Education.
About Me
My area of expertise is in undergraduate-level remedial chemistry, as well as General Chemistry I & II, and Organic Chemistry I & II. Throughout my career, I have focused on teaching undergraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds, encompassing diverse ages, life experiences, and socioeconomic circumstances. My undergraduate degree is in Chemistry. Currently, I serve as a faculty member at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. I have been teaching at the undergraduate level since 2001, with experience that includes both professional academic appointments and private instruction. During a six-year period when I was a stay-at-home mother, I continued to tutor students on a part-time basis. During this time, I worked privately with high school students diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, and other learning differences, as well as with gifted students, in subjects including chemistry, other sciences, and mathematics. Now that my husband has retired from the Marine Corps, he and I enjoy the time we have visiting our children and grandchildren, traveling and taking in ant new sites we can.
