In my coarse studies, I also obtained my Elementary Teaching License as well as my Early Childhood Director Certification. My background includes working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, directing a Montessori School, and teaching English, reading, and literature through one on one instruction. In my tutoring career, I have tutored elementary through middle school children with reading, writing, language arts, grammar, phonics, and spelling. My experience also includes working with adults where English is their second language. My life philosophy is simply, "balance". I believe that through a truly balanced lifestyle of everything from sleep to nutrition, a healthy learning environment can take place. My passion is helping children learn and excel through teaching to the individual child's learning style, academic pace, and interests. In my free time, you'll find me reading, hiking, cooking, and spending time with my family!
