Not all children get the opportunities that American children are afforded at little to no cost. I also firmly believe that students these days are NOT being held accountable for their actions either at home or in school. This is NOT the way the real world works. It is important that students be held accountable for their actions or lack there of, both in class and out of class and that is how I run my classroom. I am there to instruct them to the best of my ability and I expect them to work to the best of their abilities. The harder they try the more I will work with them to meet their goals, but I have little tolerance for those who don't want to be there.
