AP CSP covers five main units: creative development and programming fundamentals, data and information, algorithms and programming, computer systems and networks, and impact of computing. Students learn block-based and text-based programming, work with real datasets, explore cybersecurity concepts, and examine how computing affects society. The course balances hands-on coding projects with conceptual understanding of how technology works.
