World of Early America
Few Americans today realize that much of America's early years can be seen in newspapers published
in the 1700's. The years leading up to the founding of America is chronicled in newspapers and magazines printed in those early years. Maps also portray battles waged against the "redcoats." And so doing, tell a fervent and valiant record of the Founding of The Republic. Most of what you will see in Archiving Early America comes from the original newspapers, magazines and maps in this site's collection.
