Isabela
Certified Tutor
I am a third year student at New York University. I am working towards my Bachelor of Science in Neurolinguistics with a minor in Public Health as well as a focus on pre-medical studies. I am also a coxswain on the NYU Crew team and practice every morning, either in the gym or on the river. Since 2013, I have worked as a lifeguard, a summer camp counselor, and as a private tutor in both English and Spanish and a peer tutor in math and history. While I enjoy learning and teaching a broad range of subjects, my passion lies in social science and STEM courses.

How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?
By guiding them to discover information on their own rather than giving them the answers without allowing them to think.
