While attending college, I worked at the child care center on campus. Since I was a young child, I knew that I wanted to work with children. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade in various schools. One fun fact about me is that for my first teaching job, I taught in the same school that I attended as a child. It was strange teaching with some of my former teachers at first but then I was able to learn so much from them. I have 20 years of education experience. I have tutored students from age 4 to 40 in reading, phonics, writing, math, study skills, homework support, and ACT and SAT prep. My favorite subject to tutor would be language arts. I love working with students on reading, writing, phonics, spelling, etc.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, three kids, and our dog, Tom. Watching reality television is something I really enjoy in my free time as well as listening to music. One of my interests is tutoring because I love working with children. I also like to garden. I am not an expert gardener but I do try my best.
