I look forward to working with students to help them become successful in their goals. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education in Special Education. As an educator I have been in the teaching field for more than 25 years and I feel I have collected an abundance of knowledge and experience. I love working with preschoolers, K-4 grades and some after school aged students in grade 6. Along the way I have gained a great appreciation for the different aspects of education. I find education challenging and rewarding. I enjoy expanding my teaching abilities to include all students willing to learn and grow. My favorite subject is Reading. I know some students find reading hard but once they can learn new words and make sense out the idea of what the author is trying to say, they will start to understand what things mean and their minds will open to wanting to read and learn more. My philosophy is the be kind and show respect and to never give up. My passion is that every child can learn with the proper tools and technique all children can be successful. In my spare time I enjoy movies, working on being healthy, water exercises, walking and reading books. Books can take you to amazing and fabulous places.

I like plants, making crafts, music jazz and music from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and so on. I like movies and enjoy action, thrillers, and make-believe fairy tales. I like reading books about faraway places. I like to take walks and I enjoy spending time at the beach my happy place.
