About Me

I have been a professional teacher, translator and interpreter of Italian and French for over 20 years. A graduate of both the Ohio State University and Youngstown State University (2003 and 2007), in both Italian and French Linguistics Summa Cum Laude, I've dedicated my time and life to the study and promotion of Language Learning and Education. As an Educator I've taught all levels in several schools across the U.S. and for nearly a decade taught in the Department of Defense Education Activity overseas located in Italy and France. Among my several certifications from various American and European Institutes, my areas of concentration include: usage of technology in the flipped classroom, adapting curriculum for the multi-disciplined classroom and creating a rigorous but welcoming classroom environment and experience for students of all backgrounds and age groups. I am an enthusiastic learner and highly enjoy promoting the philosophy of constant improvement and progression to my students. Language is not only a plus to learning, but also a way of enhancing your viewpoint on the world and contributes to all walks of life, from the classroom to the science lab, to a big software company, to NASA! In addition to my current career, I'm also pursuing certifications in Computer Science and AI Programming through online programs from NuCamp while working professionally as a translator and interpreter for top-tier non-profit and private organizations in several fields from Education to Environmental Protection, Social Science, Political Science, Business Development and Medicine. In my free time, I'm an avid traveler and enjoy experiencing new places and people, and yes, my dogs come along!
