Working with kids K-12, I have helped a diverse group of kids with math subjects ranging from counting to AP Calculus. With a large background in science, I also tutor kids that are struggling with chemistry and physics. Generally, my favorite subject to teach is algebra. Often times this is when kids begin to doubt themselves or first struggle with mathematics, so I think its important to make sure they are really comfortable with the skills they will need. With two years of professional mathematics tutoring experience, I am able to help students get to the very root of their struggles. My main priority is to not only give students the strategies they need to succeed, but also build confidence. I really enjoy when I see that a student has become an expert in their own right.

I enjoy math, chemistry, and physics, but outside of academics I also love basketball, football, and fishing.
