I am passionate about teaching and helping my students and dietetic interns to accomplish their goals. I take pride in finding new, fun, and silly, yet memorable, ways of breaking down difficult material. I value taking time with students so that they truly understand concepts, instead of just memorizing it (especially for the RD exam). Students have said they really enjoy and find it helpful when I use my clinical and research background to apply topics being learned to real-life examples. Courses I am confident in tutoring include:- RD Exam Prep- Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) I, II, and III- Macronutrient Metabolism- Micronutrient Metabolism- Foodservice Management- World Nutrition- Research Methods- Nutrition Counseling- Nutrition Assessment through the Lifecycle- Community Nutrition- Nutritional Biochemistry- Statistics 101I primarily prepare students for the RD exam but I am happy to help with any nutrition-related course/classwork and provide guidance to students aiming to match with dietetic internships as well. I can also help with resume preparation, mock interviews, and general guidance throughout the DICAS application process. My favorite course to tutor are Medical Nutrition Therapy because of my clinical and clinical nutrition research background and RD exam prep. I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree from CUNY Hunter College. I graduated from Drexel University with a Master of Science in Human Nutrition with a Clinical Nutrition Research concentration in 2019. Afterward, I matched with my first ranked internship choice and went on to complete my dietetic internship at the National Institutes of Health. I am a Ph.D. student and teacher's assistant at Drexel University in their Nutrition Sciences department, with a concentration in nutritional neuroscience. I currently part part-time as a clinical dietitian and dietetic intern preceptor as well.

Outside of academia, I enjoy playing basketball and kickboxing. I also love to volunteer and teach!
