I also understand that not every method of studying works for everyone and some subjects require different methods of studying. But in all cases, perseverance is necessary to succeed. I have been a teacher's assistant for general and organic chemistry. I have also tutored for molecular biology and basic statistics. Throughout my time, I have learned that students are smarter than they believe. Most of the time, students just need clarification, patience, and encouragement. A little about myself: I am a pre-med student with a major in Health Science and a concentration in Public Health. My end goal is to one day work for the World Health Organization, traveling the world and helping to prevent epidemics such as Ebola and malaria. But in the mean time, I focus much of my time tutoring, so I can help others achieve the academic success that I have had.
