I am a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University where I received both my Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience (2014) and my Master of Science in Biotechnology (2017). I am also very grateful and excited to begin medical school this coming fall. Throughout the years as a counselor/TA for various summer enrichment programs, as a volunteer mentor/tutor for underserved and disadvantaged high school students, and also as a private tutor, I have accumulated a wealth of experience working with K-12 students and undergraduate students as well as some experience working with children with learning differences. An extrovert by nature, I genuinely love interacting with others, which contributes to my passion for collaborating with my students toward their academic and personal goals. I think methodically and am detail oriented, which I believe helps me break down concepts and problem-solving strategies easily yet thoroughly for students. Students can also expect me to support them in developing more effective organization and study skills if needed. My favorite school subjects to tutor are biochemistry, cell biology, and neuroscience, but I equally enjoy partnering with students to help them build confidence and best prepare for various standardized tests, especially the MCAT. Additionally, I am a skilled writer and enjoy assisting with all stages of a student's writing process, from idea organization and effective argumentation, to editing and proofreading. Aside from academics, I find balance and fulfillment through dance, yoga, and spending time with friends. I also enjoy meeting new people and I always have and always will love to read.
