During my time there, I was a member of two literary magazine staffs in which I edited the works of both local and nationally acclaimed writers in all major forms of literature. My American Literature professor even asked if she could use one of my essays as a template for students to follow during upcoming semesters. I've been bilingual since before I even started school, and have maintained fluency in Spanish for my entire life. I'm well versed on a number of subjects, but writing and literature are certainly the ones I'm most passionate about. I'm the first person friends and/or family call when they need work edited. I'd love to impart that same passion into people who may not have thought they were capable otherwise. Learning the fundamentals of good writing is quite necessary, but it's finding your voice as a writer that makes it all worthwhile! Outside of the realm of writing, I enjoy consuming pop culture from all sorts of eras and cultures. I've recently become more interested in visual arts, like theatrical makeup and painting. I also love singing, but not entirely sure I'm as good as I like to think I am.
