About Me
I began teaching college-level English when earning my Ph.D. at Columbia University. Since 2005, I have been an adjunct assistant professor at Hunter College, where I teach courses in literary theory and American literature, including "Law & American Literature," a course that I developed. I have taught freshman composition at Barnard College, Columbia College and, last fall, Westchester Community College. I enjoy working one-on-one with high school and college level students. I can assist your student in English, American history, and "brainstorming" and form for college admission essays.
