BA in Italian language and literature with a double minor in Spanish and International Studies from the State University of New York at Binghamton. I have 5+ years of tutoring in Spanish, French and Italian in all levels K-12, college and professional development. As mentioned above I tutor and teach all the three Romance Languages, however I mostly enjoy teaching Spanish since it is my native language and it is becoming a second language in many major US cities and the most popular foreign language taught within US school curricula. The main goal I have for my students is simple and to the point: being able to communicate in the target L2. I assure them that L2 acquisition is a process that takes time and practice. I also encourage them not to let frustration get on the way of learning and achieving the possibility to communicate in a L2. Outside of academia, what I enjoy the most is to spend as much time possible with my family and travel whenever possible. I am interested in many contemporary issues, such as and not limited to, global warming, gender equality, education, the fight against human trafficking and many other topics.
