Long-time tutor, Dallas native, Hockaday and UT/Dallas graduate Alexandra has enjoyed a full life as an entrepreneur, equestrian professional, journalist, teacher, actor, stage director and non-profit manager in both Texas and California. As a teacher she created a nationally-recognized arts leadership camp in the Sierras, taught creative expression and drama to grade through high school levels in public and charter schools, developed drama programs for non-profits and has even tutored Latin. She is nationally credentialed as an NEA/USC/ Annenberg and Eugene O'Neill Institute theatre critic. She coaches a full verbal subject array and focuses on ACT /SAT test prep and college application essays. An ACT/SAT Specialist, she has tutored over 2000 hours combined. Many of her students achieve composites over 30 in the ACT, comparable improvement in the SAT. She brings originality, grounded understanding, wit, and passion to her sessions. (And she assigns reasonable homework.) Today's students are tomorrow's leaders and citizens. Alexandra honors that reality.

She loves sunshine and mountains more than big cities and traffic. She celebrates life with live theatre, musicals, music, film, reading, cooking, pets of all sorts (no snakes or arachnids, yikes) and traveling, She envisions a tolerant, peaceful world where the arts and every sentient being are treasured, respected and sustained.
