Having worked as a tutor many times in the past, I understand the importance of connecting to one's students and developing a strong relationship, which fosters the student's growth and improvement. I also work with them to understand why they are having trouble. I try to approach the problems in different ways to allow my student to think about the problem from different angles, and I help my students think logically and efficiently about tackling solutions. Lastly, I push my students to continue practicing so they don't get complacent. Even if they are strong in a certain area, I encourage them to try additional difficult problems to reinforce their knowledge.
