About Me
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2012 and received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Russian Language & Culture. While in Ukraine, I taught students of all skill levels, ages, and professional backgrounds. After nearly a year and a half of teaching in Ukraine, I decided to return to the US to study for the LSAT and apply to law schools with the goal of one day practicing immigration law. As a teacher, my strongest subjects are anything related to English, including Reading, Writing, and Literature. I also have a passion for foreign languages and have spent multiple years studying both Spanish and Russian, and as such would be happy to tutor any students of either language. I believe that a college education is vital for success in this country, and for better or worse standardized testing is a necessary step in applying to colleges. Though these tests can seem daunting, I believe that with the right amount of hard work and preparation, each student can achieve the results he or she desires. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I like nothing more than a good book or movie that makes me think, though I also enjoy watching and playing sports, especially soccer.
