- I am a graduate from Syracuse University with a Master's degree in Spanish Language, Literature and Culture.
About Me
During my time at Syracuse University I gained some valuable teaching experience as an Instructor of Spanish 101, 102, 201, 202, 211, 212 for undergraduate students; teaching one grammar (4 credits) and one conversation (1 credit) course per semester independently, with the guidance of the Spanish Language coordinator. I enjoy teaching and am considered to have a caring approach; my tutoring style is very clear and as a foreign language learner myself, I understand better my students' difficulties and I care about my students' best interest. I rely upon many activities that involve a total physical response by the students: develop the five language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture) and which prepares students to communicate effectively in both written and spoken Spanish on a variety of topics related to themselves, their personal experiences, and everyday situations one might encounter in a Spanish speaking environment. In my spare time, I enjoy any kind of outdoors activities, specially hiking and backpackingand of course, traveling!
