The enjoyment of helping to shape the minds of those who are up and coming scholars excites me. I graduated with honors from Wheaton College (IL) with a B.A. in English, Writing and a Certificate in Early Church History. While studying, I worked as a Writing Consultant where I empowered undergraduate and graduate students to write clearly and persuasively and to read their own work with a critical eye for revision. I believe each student has the capacity to write effectively and I am passionate about providing the skills to assist students to develop their own voice.In addition to Writing, I especially enjoy tutoring Literature, Reading, and ESL/ELL. I am often found working on DIY projects around the house, doing automotive repairs, hiking, reading, and even cross-stitching.

I am currently applying to medical school while working at the NIH for a year. During college, I spent a lot of my time tutoring peers and elementary/middle school children in Chester, PA, volunteering at local hospice facilities and at HUP (Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania), and doing research at the Cleveland Clinic. I have also tutored abroad in Korea in standardized test prep like SAT, MCAT, and SAT II. In my free time, I enjoy dancing and cooking, as well as running cross country.
