Water is everywhere on Earth. It can be found underground, in glaciers, icebergs, lakes, streams, ponds, rivers, and oceans. About 72% of the Earth is made up of water! Looking at maps of the world can help put into perspective how much water there is on Earth.

When using a map, all bodies of water will be blue, and the land may be tan, green, or in this case, multiple colors to distinguish between the countries.
