I recently graduated from Suffolk University in Boston MA, earning my Bachelor's in Political Science with a concentration on public policy. I also minored in Education and hope to use my experience to advocate for educational policy reforms to the benefit of students and teachers. While attending classes I was a substitute teacher for K-8; a temporary ELA teacher for 7th grade; and a high-achieving academic who supported my peers in their coursework constantly. My first job was a role created for me, to mentor and work with high schoolers after school, an identified struggle group. While I have comfort in a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and History. Despite only being in this role for a couple of years, I've received tons of positive comments from my students. I've collected and held onto the various notes and letters of thank-you's, some claiming that I am why they passed their classes. Succeeding in this task is so much more than understanding the material and getting answers correct. Instead, I aspire to help students grow into great learners. With the right support and motivation, anyone can learn anything; a powerful toolkit that should follow you outside of the classroom. My free time involves activities such as drawing, dancing, and enjoying regular game nights with my friends.

Undergraduate Degree: Suffolk University - Bachelor of Science, Political Science and Government
Although I pursued education and political science for my degree, there were few subjects that didn't interest me in school. I'm fascinated by history and anthropology, learning stories of humankind throughout the ages. I also consider myself very creative. I draw and dabble in fictional writing, but my favorite creative output is dungeons and dragons.
