Certified Tutor

I am a third year student at New York University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Media, Culture, and Communications, with a double minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology, as well as Spanish. I live and breathe communication--I love reading and writing, and promoting literacy and furthering comprehension skills is one of my biggest interests in education today.

In the past, I have worked as a tutor in high school for middle school students. I would help them with end-of-grade test prep, and other daily homework assignments for pay. In my first two years of college, I was a tutor at America Reads/America Counts, which is a federally-funded work study program to assist students in underprivileged schools. I tutored reading, math, science, music, and a plethora of other topics to grades K-5. It was a rewarding experience to see students grasp topics that they deemed impossible. I hope I can help as many students as I can through Varsity Tutors-- I strive to spread excellence and make a long-lasting impact in furthering academic success in any way I can.

Outside of work, I like baking, roller skating, fashion, watching cartoons, debating movies and fashion.
