Certified Tutor

I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Anderson University in South Carolina. I also had extensive training in Early Childhood Education and Learning Disabilities. I taught 5th grade in South Carolina for 3 years in a Title 1 setting. I have also done home tutoring with families that have students with academic needs in areas of reading, social interaction, math and behavior. I am extremely passionate about helping every student reach their full potential in the classroom and in life. Their confidence and life skills are just as important as their academic skills. My favorite subject is math, however I love tutoring English, History, and Social-Emotional Learning. I believe that learning should be interactive and based on real-world situations. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my puppy and volunteering at the local church.
