Certified Tutor

I have been an international educator for the past twelve years, working as a classroom teacher, program coordinator, and school administrator in schools across three continents thus far in my career. I graduated from Gordon College with undergraduate degrees in English, Elementary Education, and Special Education, and went on to receive my Masters Degree in Special Education from Salem State University in Massachusetts. In addition, I hold post-graduate certificates in the fields of Gifted and Talented Education and School Administration and Supervision (issued by James Madison University and Johns Hopkins University, respectively). As an educator, my expertise lies in my ability to: 1) support early learners to develop the skills needed to be successful academically; 2) support elementary-aged students to grow in their understanding and content knowledge of the core subject areas, regardless of where they are at; 3) support learners of all ages to improve their reading, writing, and English language skills; and 4) support students of all ages to develop and improve the necessary organizational and study skills needed for academic and lifelong success.
