I am a graduate of Mississippi State University where I earned a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education with a concentration in clinical exercise physiology. After earning my degree from Mississippi State University, I pursued and earned my Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University. Later, I decided to switch gears and become a Massage Therapist. I absolutely love and enjoy the massage therapy profession. Moreover, I enjoy teaching others and students about the massage therapy field. I am very passionate about teaching and helping students accomplish their academic goals. I know school can seem a bit stressful at times, but through discipline, motivation, and confidence, the task can be accomplished. I have taught subjects such as Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology, Medical Terminology, Student Clinical, College Success, mblex licensure review, and my favorite Kinesiology for seven years at various tech schools and colleges. I have also served as a lead instructor and department chair for the massage therapy program at various schools. During my seven years of teaching, I have had great success with students passing their mblex on their first attempt with a 90% pass rate. I am a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
