I am a current PhD candidate in experimental geophysics at MIT. I have worked as a tutor in math and science at the pre-K through 12 level, and in math, science, and writing at the collegiate level. I love helping students learn skills that will allow them to grow their confidence and competence, and am passionate about making both STEM and the humanities more fun for students.

I read a lot - usually over a book a day! My favorites are classic novels about miserable young women moping (Jane Eyre, Tess of the D'Urbervilles, etc). Much of the rest of my free time is spent exploring the outdoors, hiking, or doing yoga.
