I received my master's degree in Data Analytics at Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies. At school, I have engaged myself in serving as a private tutor and a professional Teaching Assistant extensively, tutoring elementary school, middle school, and high school students; and also helping my peer university students. I have served as a volunteer teacher for disadvantaged left-behind children in rural villages. I am also a certified ESL instructor.
I tutor a wide range of math subjects, English, Environmental Science, High school physics and chemistry. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about math and science subjects for all age groups. I am enthusiastic about guiding students to figure out answers by themselves and feel excited about their progress.
I am an easy-going and cheerful person, always cheering up and encouraging my students, trying to alleviate their stress, and making their studying time as interesting as possible.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and many outdoor activities.
