I've always enjoyed helping and teaching others. Whether it's computer programming, IT repair, or some unique trade skill it is always enjoyable to see people understand content they were having trouble with. The moment where I can think or say, "YES! This person gets it :D" is wonderful.
When it comes to working with students, normally I seem to get along well with a variety of personalities. However, students who want to learn, mesh really well with me. I received my Bachelors degree of Information Technology (Software Development) from Clayton State University and Master of Computer Science (Real Time Interactive Simulation) from University of West Georgia.
I'm mainly focus on teaching Game Design, Game Development, and C# Programming. My preferred game engine is G-Develop. I feel G-Develop is the next step up between Scratch and Microsoft's Visual Studio IDE. It's a visual programming editor, that deserves more credit. I'm creating my next action/adventure/puzzle game for my game company, using G-Develop.
My philosophy is, when there is a will there is a way. If you have a true desire to learn a topic there is a way to accomplish your goal. However, that is not saying accomplishing your goal would be easy. The journey to reach your goal is just as important obtaining your desires in life. In my opinion, we should also recognize that each person is different and they can't all be evaluated the same way. Example, "If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
In my free time, I'm currently playing Guild Wars 2 MMO, Pokemon Sword and Shield, Tales of Vesperia, and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (for Game Design research).
