I received my Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University in Latin American Studies. I also minored in Spanish and Global Business. A lover of all things Spanish and English, my fascination with the written language extends throughout different cultures, genres, and writing styles. I spent a year and a half living in Santiago, Chile where I was exposed to the wonderful Chilean culture. Throughout my time at BYU, I volunteered with Spanish speaking immigrants as they prepared for their test to become US citizens. I currently work with students in my local school district who struggle with attendance and academics. These experiences have shown me the unlimited potential of every student. While I focus mainly on English and Spanish, I am passionate about helping students find how they learn best in any subject. I firmly believe that everyone deserves access to the resources needed to thrive academically.
When not working, I enjoy taking long walks with my husband, playing friends and family in Spikeball, and curling up with a good book.
