I am a Biologist and a secondary education science teacher. I hold a Master of Science Degree in Biology, as well as teaching certifications in biology, general science, and the social sciences. For the past 14 years, I have been teaching traditional middle and high school science courses. Prior to that, I served in the husbandry and education departments at the Waikiki Aquarium (HI), the Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter (NC), the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (FL), and the Pacific Marine Mammal Center (CA).
I have a passion for science and education, and I believe all learners are capable of academic success. I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your academic goals.

I enjoy outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and kayaking, but my favorite thing to do is hike a wild animal park or stroll through a science center. I carve out plenty of time to play board games with my family and love on my pets, which currently include a golden retriever, two tabby cats, 3 fish, and a curly hair tarantula.
