I am passionate about helping students in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), specifically those that are pursing a certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). I have mentored staff, interns, and students pursuing BCBA certifications.
My tutoring philosophy comes from B.F. Skinner "failure is not always a mistake... the real mistake is to stop trying." I like to find creative ways for people to remember the material and to make the concepts relatable to real life. The end goal for me is to have someone walk away from tutoring with the confidence to pass the exam.
My educational background started at Missouri State University. I received a Bachelors in Recreation Sports, Park Administration (emphasis Therapeutic Recreation, minor in Psychology). I then attended Gonzaga University and received a Masters in Special Education (emphasis Functional Analysis).
