I graduated with a degree in Architecture after spending nearly 20 years in residential design, and am currently completing my Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Psychology. Beyond academics, my personal passion has been travel and languages. I have worked in several countries and three continents teaching English as a second language and becoming immersed in the French language and culture so that I can share it with American students and adults interested in learning a new language for conversation and travel.
I enjoy teaching children, teens and adults alike. I always find out how my student learns first and adapt my skills for the best outcomes. I love teaching visual learners and explaining processes in a way that is both fun and comprehensive.
In my spare time I enjoy art, cooking, photography, walking and have hiked in many western American national parks, the Appalachian mountains, as well as the Cevennes, the Pyrenees and the Alpes in Europe.
