I struggled in school as a child. My mother found a good tutor and her guidance helped me improve academically. I decided then that I wanted to be a teacher to help struggling students. I went on to earn a B.S. degree in Special Education and a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. I have been employed for a total of 39 years in the Education and Counseling fields.
I specialize in providing special education services and support to children, parents and teachers.
Undergraduate Degree: Winston-Salem State University - Bachelor of Science, Special Education
Graduate Degree: East Carolina University - Master of Science, Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling
I enjoy going for walks, swimming with friends and family, reading science fiction books, watching action/adventure and science fiction movies and playing board games. Most of all I like to travel to different places.
