I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English, Classics, and Global Medieval Studies. Since graduation, I have worked as a middle and high school Latin teacher at both a private school in Wilmington, DE, as well as at a charter school outside Boston. While I am able to tutor in subjects throughout the humanities, my passions are Latin and English/writing. As far as my pedagogy, I have learned over the past two years, that students are most successful when I act as a catalyst in the space of their learning - rather than dictating the terms. Students should be given the tools to take ownership of their education and therefore ultimately excel in its study. In my spare time, I love to read about the ancient world, bake lots of cookies, and listen to podcasts.
