I am currently a senior pursuing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I was a tutor for the second half of high school through the Math Honor Society, and ever since then I have been unofficially tutoring my classmates and friends in college. Not only do I help my peers out in doing so, but I solidify my own knowledge in making sure that I am able to explain a concept to someone else. Furthermore, I always feel a great sense of reward when I help someone to understand something that they were struggling with, especially when it's a subject or idea which I am particularly passionate about. I am capable of tutoring in most disciplines of math and science, however my favorite subjects to teach specifically are chemistry and engineering since they are my favorite subjects to learn. I love the feeling of figuring out how to solve a problem or understanding a concept which I had been confused about, and it is even better when I am able to share that feeling with someone else.
Undergraduate Degree: University of California-Santa Barbara - Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering
My hobbies include playing guitar, biking, hiking, reading, and paddle-boarding! My biggest interest is in environmental science and activism--I plan to use my Chemical Engineering degree to go into renewable energy production.
